Surgical Green’s Obwegeser Periosteal Elevator offers a wide assortment of surgical advantages. Its principal use is to atraumatically dissect and elevate periosteum folds from the mandible or maxillary bone in plastic surgery.
For this purpose, the Obwegeser Elevator features an oval blade with a slight curve, which is ideal to perform in the maxillofacial anatomy. In addition, the blade has a semi-sharp edge that permits dissecting fibrous tissues.
Moreover, the Obwegeser Periosteal Elevator features a hollow handle with longitudinal ridges. This ergonomic design offers excellent gripping and prevents slippage during lengthy procedures.
Furthermore, all our Periosteal Elevators are available in premium grade stainless steel with a fine satin coat that reduces glare.
