For this purpose, the Cottle Osteotome has a double-beveled blade supplied with a sharp cutting edge. Moreover, the blade is available in a wide assortment of sizes, ranging from 2.0 to 12mm. As a result, surgeons can cut through the delicate surfaces of nasal bones.
In addition, the Cottle Bone Osteotome features an elongated, straight shaft equipped with depth markings. Therefore, these markings come in handy to measure the access to the nasal cavity, thereby preventing inadvertent trauma.
