Surgical Green’s Spencer Stitch Scissor is used for dissection and cutting of internal and external sutures during a variety of surgeries including general, gynecological and vascular surgeries.
- Hooked Tip To Slide Underneath The Sutures
- Short Blades To Increase Precison
- Ergonomic Ring Handles For Comfortable Handling
Surgical Green‘s Spencer Stitch Scissors, also known as the Littauer Stitch Scissors, come with a special hook that is ideal for slipping underneath sutures to dissect them.
Secondly, the instrument has a beveled hook tip that cuts the suture once it slides against it. This optimizes and hastens the dissection of the sutures. The operating scissors include short blades for precise dissection. The beveled blades enhance cutting performance. They do so by efficiently transmitting the force onto a very fine blade.
In addition, the smooth outer edges of the instrument allow it to slide easily through tissues. Also, Spencer Stitch Scissor includes ergonomic ring handles for comfortable handling. The streamlined design and lightweight of the Spencer Stitch Scissor also decrease user fatigue.
Thirdly, this Scissor includes a rivet screw joint with non-ratcheted jaws. Therefore, this allows fast manipulation with ease.
All scissors from Surgical Green are manufactured from premium quality stainless steel with a satin finish to reduce glare. The instrument can be sterilized and reused.
