Surgical Green’s Bonney Forceps is a thumb-type, clamping instrument that offers various benefits during surgery. Its principal role is to maintain a clear view of the operating site by packing wounds and absorbing excess fluids.
Furthermore, Bonney Dissecting Forceps comes with special toothed tips that allow secure grip on tissues.This forceps is commonly used to grasps membranes, intestinal walls, muscle sheaths, blood vessels as well as skin and subcutaneous tissue.
Bonney Dissecting Forceps especially includes 1 x 2 teeth with serrations which help to improve grip on tissues. The serrations minimize damage to tissues. The narrow profile of the tip also increases precision of dissection. In addition, the operating forceps includes special outer square pattern which enhances gripping. Therefore this special design permits a comfortable manoeuvring experience.
In addition, the Bonney Forceps features a thumb-style spring handle that provides smooth clamping movements.
