Surgical Green‘s Killian Nasal Speculum is used in diagnostic and therapeutic nasal procedures. After anesthetizing the nasal mucosa, it can be used in procedures like anterior rhinoscopy, nasal packing, polypectomy, and turbinate reduction surgeries. After elevating the mucoperiosteum on both sides, the speculum can be placed within the flaps with the blades on either side of the bony septum.
- Serrated Handle For Non-Slip Grips.
- Premium Grade Materials For Reliable Service.
- Range Of Sizes To Suit Diverse Indications.
Surgical Green‘s Killian Nasal Speculum – with Fixation Screw assists surgeons to examine and treat diseases in the nose, like bleeding. Therefore, the instrument helps remove foreign bodies in the nasal cavity or place packs to stop the blood. During the exam, you can also take a biopsy to detect tumors or infections.
Surgeons place the speculum to widen the nares as they look at the nasal walls. Therefore, we designed its grip handles with a long profile to give dexterity and control. Moreover, the handles have outer serrations to enhance your hold.
Doctors can start by placing the closed cone blades in the nares. Then, use the handles to open them slowly. We made the retracting edges of the blades with a blunt outline to prevent tissue injury. In addition, the two blades have a large cone so you can view the nasal cavity clearly.
We designed a complete range of the Killian Nasal Speculum – with Fixation Screw to suit your surgical approaches for your convenience. The nasal speculum has blade sizes from 35 to 85 mm to fit the needs of different patient groups. Furthermore, the shafts are 13 cm long so you can see the blades directly.
We manufacture all our Rhinoplasty Speculums from premium-grade stainless steel that allows easy sterilization and reliable reuse of instruments.
