Surgical Green‘s Hartmann Mosquito Forceps are primarily used in general surgeries to block the flow of blood in a vessel or fragile tissue. These forceps contain vertical serrations and a ratchet ring-handle to ensure a tight grasp.

For this purpose, the Hartmann Artery Forceps features a pair of tapered jaws with serrations that help to minimize local injury. In addition, surgeons can choose between toothed and non-toothed patterns according to the surgical target.
