Surgical Green‘s Cottle Alar Hook consists of a solid handle and a hook-type working end. These features are valuable during surgery. For example, the surgeon uses the alar hook’s long handle for reaching hidden spaces within the nasal cavity.
In addition, the alar hook’s working-end features four sharp prongs. As a result, the hook ensures optimal retraction of the nasal alae without damaging nearby tissues.
