Cottle Alar Retractor
£75.00
Surgical Green‘s Cottle Alar Retractor is used by nasal surgeons to retract soft tissues in rhinology procedures. This helps provide optimal exposure in nasal surgeries.
- Serrated flat handle for firm and reliable grips.
- Slender neck for deep surgical access.
- Curved blunt blade for optimal surgical field.
Surgical Green‘s Cottle Alar Retractors assist surgeons to treat nasal diseases. For instance, the device retracts soft tissues like the nasal ala in plastic surgery. This exposes the nose to repair nose fractures and deviations that result from trauma or disease.
Surgeons place the blade on the inside of the ala and pull back on the handle. Therefore, we designed the handle of the Alar Retractor with a long and light frame to provide firm grips. Moreover, the flat profile has outer serrations to grant comfort and prevent finger strain in long procedures.
The Cottle Alar Retractor is 16 cm long and has a slender profile to pass into narrow spaces easily. You can use the curved blade to grant stable retractions, while the blunt edges allow you to pull back tissues without damaging surrounding structures. In addition, the blade of the alar retractor has a slender neck so you can see the inside of the nose directly.
Furthermore, Surgical Green offers other devices to cover wide surgical indications. This includes the Kilner and Cottle Alar Hooks, which have different blade shapes to customize your approach for every patient.
