For this purpose, the Cottle Osteotome has a double-beveled blade supplied with a sharp cutting edge. Moreover, the blade is available in a wide assortment of sizes, ranging from 4.0 to 14mm. As a result, surgeons can cut through the delicate surfaces of nasal bones.
In addition, the Cottle Bone Osteotome – Cross Handle features an elongated, straight shaft equipped with depth markings. Therefore, these markings come in handy to measure the access to the nasal cavity, thereby preventing inadvertent trauma.
