Surgical Green‘s Cottle Nasal Alar Hook assist surgeons to retracts soft tissues like the nasal ala in rhinoplasty. This exposes the nose in order to repair nose fractures and deviations that result from trauma or disease.
Surgeons place the cottle hook on the inside of the ala and pull back on the handle for retraction. Therefore, we designed the handle of cottle hook with a long and light frame to provide firm grips. Moreover, the flat profile has outer serrations to grant comfort and prevent finger strain in long procedures.
The Cottle Nasal Alar Hook is 14.5 cm long and have a slender profile to pass into narrow spaces easily. You can use the sharp and button prong combinations to serve diverse indications. The sharp blade grants stable retractions, while the round buttons allow you to pull back tissues without damaging surrounding structures. In both models, the tips have curved necks so you can see the inside of the nose directly.
