Surgical Green’s Desmarres Lid Retractor consists of a solid long handle and a blade-type working end. Moreover, the blade is available in small, medium, and large sizes.
For this purpose, the surgeon inserts the lid retractor’s blade under the eyelid and retracts the tissue. So that, the concave shape of the Desmarres Retractor blade prevents eyelashes from projecting into the surgical field.
