Surgical Green’s Jaeger Lid Plate offers stability and protection for the ocular globe. Its principal use is to cover the eyeball and provide a rigid surface on which surgeons can perform lid dissection.
For this purpose, the Jaeger Plate features a wide, concave blade that follows the anatomy of the globe. In addition, the smooth surface of the blade prevents injury. Secondly, it also avoids any traumatic pressure on its underlying tissues.
