To serve all suturing needs, the Mayo Hegar Needle Holder is available with smooth or serrated jaws and gold-plated handles in both standard and left-handed models.
Furthermore, the shafts are straight and long to allow the surgeon to see the device’s jaws directly. The fine jaws have inner cross-serrations to sharpen their grasp on different types of needles.
