Surgical Green‘s Mayo Hegar Needle Holder is handcrafted from German stainless steel and tungsten carbide inserts. These needle holders provide control, precision, and a dependable non-slip either smooth or cross-hatched surface.
To serve all suturing needs, the Mayo Hegar Needle Holder is available with smooth or serrated jaws and gold-plated handles in both standard and left-handed models.
Furthermore, the shafts are straight and long to allow the surgeon to see the device’s jaws directly. The fine jaws have inner cross-serrations to sharpen their grasp on different types of needles.
Surgical Green‘s tungsten carbide needle holders provide unparalleled control while suturing. Moreover, these needle holders are also available with smooth tungsten carbide jaws. Therefore, these can hold the smallest sutures in microsurgical and plastic surgery procedures.
