Surgical Green’s Rampley Sponge Holding Forceps is a multipurpose surgical tool that surgeons frequently use to grab and hold swabs and sponges, which help in cleaning the blood and other fluids from the operating site.
- Atraumatic Serrated Jaws For Securing A Strong Grasp.
- Versatile Ratchet Mechanism For Self-Retaining Clamping.
- Ergonomic Finger Rings For Enhanced Handling.
Surgical Green‘s Rampley Sponge Holding Forceps offers a wide array of surgical benefits for general surgeons. These benefits come in handy to keep the surgical field free from blood.
For this purpose, the Rampley Forceps features a pair of loop-shaped jaws supplied with an oval fenestration. Moreover, the jaws have horizontal serrations on their inner surfaces for avoiding sponges dropping into the operating site. Therefore, Surgeons can grasp and push sponges and swabs against organs or tissues for clearing blood and other fluids.
In addition, the Rampley Sponge Holding Forceps features elongated shanks that connect the boxlock with a ratchet mechanism. Also, the boxlock allows a smooth clamping action for preventing inadvertent injury.
