Schnidt Tonsil Forceps
£45.00
Surgical Green’s Schmidt Tonsil Forceps are specialized grasping instruments used to block blood flow to tonsillar tissues to provide hemostasis and reduce post-surgical bleeding.
- Two Shapes for Multiple Surgical Approaches.
- Ratchet Lock for Self-Retaining Clamping.
- Serrated Jaws Ensuring Non-Slip Grasps.
Surgical Green‘s Schnidt Tonsil Forceps help doctors to remove tonsils when they cause infections or breathing problems. Surgeons use forceps to clamp the soft tissues of the tonsils to reduce bleeding.
The handles are light and have wide finger rings to increase your control and dexterity. Moreover, their ratchet design prevents strain and helps to control clamping pressure during long surgeries.
Schmidt Forceps have delicate serrated jaws that are primarily used as a hemostatic to clamp blood vessels. The fully serrated jaws and locking ratchet mechanism Schmidt Forceps reduces the possibility of the vessels or collection of tissues from sliding or moving. These forceps are offered in straight or curved jaws in a wide variety of lengths to accommodate a range of cases.
In addition, the Schnidt Tonsil Forceps features slightly and strongly curved patterns to reach a variety of surgical sites. Also, the jaws have transverse serrations to safely hold soft tissues and blood vessels. In addition, they have blunt and round ends to prevent tissue injury.
We manufacture our Haemostatic Forceps and Clamps from premium grade stainless steel to ensure the highest quality instruments in your operating rooms. Quality that you can depend on for years of fine service.
